Strawberry Smoothie (2 servings)
The energizing blend is simply bursting with goodness. Strawberry are rich sources of vitamin C, which helps fight infection and boost the immune system. Tofu a great source of protein, it is also rich in calcium. Tofu naturally blend in flavor and therefore makes an ideal versatile ingredient for smoothie.
Strawberry Smoothie Ingredients
200 g / 1 3/4 cups strawberries
200 g silken tofu
3 tbsp pumpkin or sunflower seeds plush extra for sprinkling
2 tbsp clear honey
juice of 2 large oranges
juice of 1 lemonsStrawberry Smoothie Preparation Method
Roughly chop the tofu, then hull the strawberries and chop them. Reserve a few strawberry chunks to garnish.
Put all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until completely smooth and creamy, scraping the mixture down the side of the bowl if necessary.
